Many believe that there is very little difference between genuine/original lamps and their compatible counterparts. Find out why original lamps are better as well as safer.
LampKing provides an unprecedented 30 day warranty on all lamps for any brand for faults due to defective materials or workmanship. The warranty commences from the day of despatch from LampKing and is extended if the manufacturer’s warranty is longer than 30 days.
Once an RMA number is given it remains valid for 10 business days (two weeks). If the lamps are not received in that time, the RMA will be closed and a new one initiated.
Breakages must be reported within three working days of receipt to enable us to claim with our carriers. Unfortunately, any claim outside of this period cannot be supported.
If you have ordered the wrong lamp by mistake or the customer no longer requires the lamp, in most cases we will take the lamp back subject to a restocking fee. As long as the lamps and packaging come back in perfect condition, this fee is 35% plus courier costs. Please ensure that you do not write on the box. Sometimes we will advise you at the time of purchase that it was a special purchase item and that the lamp could not be returned. The courier cost to return the lamp to us will also be for the clients account
If an item does not work or stops working by what appears to be a product defect, please use the returns system to get the lamp back to us. The courier cost to return the lamp to us will be for the clients account. We will then determine the fault with the relevant manufacturer and replace the
lamp if applicable.
If a replacement is required ahead of the unit being assessed, please place
a new order.
Important Notice
Many manufacturers refuse to recognise a warranty claim without the serial number of the projector, therefore failure to provide it within the warranty period may invalidate our ability to support the claim.
Please note that in all circumstances a Return Merchandise Authorisation (R.M.A.) number must be obtained before shipping the product back to us. Products must be returned in their original packaging, which must not be defaced in any way, consequently, we recommend that they should be shipped inside extra packaging. Unfortunately, because it will limit our ability to resell the lamp module, if these conditions are not adhered to, we reserve the right to levy an increased restocking charge or reject the goods.
